SPARK book launched on incarcerated juveniles / Pakistan Daily Times, 7 Nov 2004

The speakers demanded an effective implementation of the Juvenile Justice System Ordinance (JJSO) of 2000. SPARK, a non-government organisation working for children�s rights throughout Pakistan, has complied a study on imprisoned juvenile offenders. According to the study, there were around 1,586 juvenile offenders imprisoned in various Punjab jails by the end of September and 1,284 of them were under-trial."
