"Young people find it easy to get their hands on cigarettes, drugs and alcohol according to the findings of a new survey. The government has attempted to tackle the problems of underage smoking, drinking and drug use. Targets have been set and high profile campaigns launched to warn about the danger of taking illegal substances. But the new survey, published in the British Medical Journal, finds smokers aged 12 to 15 have little problem getting cigarettes, and many bought them from shops despite the minimum age restriction of 16."
