"Four pilot projects that will give young people the skills to become involved in decision making in their own communities have been announced by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister's Neighbourhood Renewal Unit. Young advisers will be paid £8 per hour and will have access to training and the opportunity to develop new skills. There will also be formal recognition of their work and the possibility to gain accredited qualifications."
