"The Jordanian government is drafting tough new antiterrorism legislation that would allow suspected terrorists to be held indefinitely and, in very broad terms, would impose penalties on any individual who "would expose the lives and properties of citizens to danger inside and outside the country." New security regulations were implemented that require all Jordanians to notify the government of any foreigners renting property, and further demand that citizens provide the names and passport information of those foreigners. The new measures are intended to curtail foreign militants' operations within the country. " [Snippet]
