"AUSTRALIA may accept asylum seekers who are found to be genuine refugees when a third country cannot be found to take them, the Federal Government said yesterday.
Under changes announced by Immigration Minister Amanda Vanstone on Thursday, anyone entering Australia illegally by boat - whether they reach the mainland or not - would be sent to one of three offshore migration detention centres for processing."
