"A 'dangerous person order' will give the authorities power to impose curfews linked to an electronic tag on criminals released on parole. The order will also give courts the power to ban offenders from entering specified areas and approaching named individuals, including their victims. High-risk offenders will also have to report regularly to police or probation officers with the threat of a return to jail if they fail to turn up for appointments. "
