"The perception among some Muslims that they are victimized globally ; the romance that "bigger" causes will always hold for hyper-hormone-powered young men; the ability to connect with like-minded radicals over the Internet — those issues are there and have to be dealt with. But this has little resonance in the wider community, precisely because most Muslims, like most other immigrants and minorities, do feel Canadian and do feel respected.
