Government gives £700m civil service payroll contract to Capita
The Cabinet Office has named the contractor as the preferred bidder to handle the payroll for more than 250,000 civil servants.
Capita, which is currently failing to pay pensions to thousands of retired civil servants, has been handed a £700m payroll deal.
