"European police sources have told JIR that the main outlaw motorcycle gangs with a presence in Europe, the Hells Angels and the Bandidos, are not organised crime groups as such, but rather they tend to include some criminals among their members. A Danish police report noted that out of 470 people suspected to be formally affiliated to the Hells Angels and Bandidos in Denmark on 1 June 2004, 46 were serving sentences, 32 were on remand, 30 were waiting to start their sentences, 46 had been released on parole and another nine were wanted by the police. According to Europol's EU Organised Crime Report 2005: '[Some] members from outlaw motorcycle gangs are increasingly involved in drugs (cocaine, synthetic drugs and cannabis) and stolen vehicle trafficking, and exploitation of prostitution. They are bound to make extreme use of violence.' " [Sub Required]
