"Employers caught paying workers less than the minimum wage could find themselves being prosecuted for people trafficking. The Flemish newspaper De Standaard reported that Justice Minister Laurette Onkelinx is drawing up a legal proposal to punish low-paying employers for people smuggling � even if the victims are Belgian.
