"A new method of self-protection has hit the streets with the force of 50,000 volts. A new consumer model of the stun gun goes on the market for you to buy. Valley-based Taser International has come out with the X26C. Word first got out about this consumer version of the taser last year. It has been on the market since then, but now the X26C is new and improved.
It's small - no bigger than a cell phone - and weighs just seven ounces. The taser, in fact, looks like a pistol. It shoots twin probes from as far as 15 feet away, making the target immobile."
