"A new Windows-based program, called TraCS for traffic and criminal software, was generated by Iowa's Department of Transportation, along with the Federal Highway Administration. It was intended to be used as a national model, said Patricia McCallum, chief of the traffic accident section in the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, a member of the state's TraCS Steering Committee."
