"The presenter is the coordinator of conferencing services at Community Service Foundation (CSF), a sister organization of the International Institute for Restorative Practices. Rush spoke about her experiences as a conferencing coordinator in Pennsylvania,USA. Beginning by defining family group decision making (FGDM) as "aprocess that provides families with an opportunity to bring together larger family networks to make important decisions that might otherwise be made by professionals," Rush discussed the difficulty professionals sometimes have letting the process succeed without intervening. Rush also shared stories of her experiences facilitating FGDM."
