"In July 2001 Bradford's reputation as one of the UK's leading multi-culturel cities was shattered by the worst rioting seen in mainland Britain for 20 years. Asian youths clashed with police during a 12 hour orgy of violence that cost the city £27million. While the clean up has long been completed, the community remains divided.
